A Few Things to Make You Think and Laugh

Here is a commercial I saw tonight while watching America’s Funniest Home Videos with my family. Do you eat dinner each night with your kids? If the simple act of eating dinner together will prevent drug and alcohol abuse, how can we use this time to prevent kids from growing up faithless? Eat dinner with your family! Talk about life and faith. Encourage them to know the God of heaven and His son Jesus!

A little later I came across this video while looking for books at Mardel online bookstore. In the music section, they are promoting this video by the Newsboys. I have never listened to their music before, but I found the video and lyrics interesting. It surfaces an interesting question for all Christians. Do you give a flip about the world around you? How does your answer reconcile with Matthew 25:31-46?

Last but not least, I have a very serious question for you. Do you think I would look good as a hologram? I haven’t decided if it would add ten pounds or make me look hotter than I already am! This is an interesting article from CNN about how some religious groups are using technology to transmit their preachers’ message over a wider audience. If it didn’t make me look fat, I’ll bet I would be an awesome virtual preacher.
